Loyal’s versatility and flexibility is critical to the external and internal contexts that organisations face, both in changing standards and in quality management best practice.

MAURO PIRES

Gerente de Qualidade, Segurança e Meio Ambiente da Voith

VOITH

Since 1999, Voith has been choosing Loyal Solutions for its integrated document management. Mauro Pires Quality , Safety and Environment Manager at Voith South America, explains that it was at a trade fair for small and large companies that he first came across the digital platform.

At that time, Loyal presented me a digital document management solution, which would solve my problem of handling 200 physical folders and over 400 documents.

The software and the constant support of Loyal’s professionals made the relationship between the companies grow stronger over the years, understanding Voith’s needs and providing customised solutions. The same happened during the Covid-19 pandemic, a period in which the aim was to improve the user experience.

In this regard, Pires highlights the adaptability and flexibility of Loyal’s digital platform to Voith’s specific needs, taking into account its external and internal requirements. He also emphasises the technical support team’s assistance in dealing with server variations and security system updates.

Over the past 22 years, Loyal’s support team has always been willing to help us solve any problems.

With the new scenario that the pandemic has subjected most companies to, bringing a large number of employees into a hybrid regime in which the mobile office has become a frequently adopted option, it is essential, according to Pires himself, to keep all documents and quality management tools continuously and securely available.

Regarding this point in particular, Pires underlines how intuitive and user-friendly the user interface is, especially when it is necessary to quickly and easily locate documents or perform other quality management tasks.

An important attribute of Loyal is its constant evolution, considering that it adapts quickly to changes in standards and good quality management practices in companies.

Loyal Solutions also contributed to the ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 certification processes, and to the planning of Voith audits audits, being a fundamental tool to implement and manage corrective actions.

In this regard, Loyal and Voith are currently working on the implementation of two new modules: Risk, which allows the generation of controls and action plans to mitigate identified risks; and Compliance, which manages in a simple way the requirements and regulations that organisations must comply with, intervening in the identification, correction of irregularities and compliance with standards.

I have worked in the quality field for 33 years and have seen many companies come up with miracle solutions, but few work effectively or last very long.

More about Voith

Voith Group is a global technology company. With its broad portfolio of industrial plants, products, services and digital applications, Voith sets standards in the energy, oil and gas, paper, raw materials, transportation and automotive markets. Founded in 1867, Voith today employs more than 20,000 people, generates EUR 4.2 billion in sales and has subsidiaries in more than 60 countries around the world, making it one of the largest family-owned companies in Europe.

Voith achieved an ambitious sustainability target at the beginning of 2022: the company reduced CO2 emissions to zero at all its sites, becoming “net zero”.

As a result, the Group’s operations became climate-neutral in January this year. With this achievement, Voith has confirmed its pioneering role in the decarbonization of industry. All Voith locations worldwide have made enormous efforts to achieve this important goal. Increasing energy efficiency and prioritizing renewable energy sources were key factors in the Group achieving its CO2 emission reduction targets.

In 2004, Voith created its social department in Brazil, the Voith Brazil Foundation, which sponsors projects that offer the community around its headquarters in the Jaraguá neighbourhood the possibility of access to music, theatre, cultural events, education and environmental preservation.

Currently, the Voith Brasil Foundation invests in social projects and in the professional qualification of young people for their first job. Cibele Barbará, President of the Voith Brazil Foundation, says that their programmes have already benefited more than 9,000 people in Jaraguá and that they will always try to improve the scope of their projects to offer greater support to young people.

And finally, Mauro Pires once again confirms his compliance with our platform:

Loyal stands out as a very reliable platform, supported by a company that we also trust. It is essential to maintain transparent partnerships like this.

Our customers’ experiences speak for themselves. Loyal Solutions thanks them for their trust and renews its commitment to keep following this process of continuous improvement.
