Loyal Solutions is pleased to share another of our experiences with our clients. In this opportunity, Elcor S.A., a leading company in high quality dairy products, at the forefront of new healthy foods for mass consumption and gastronomy.
In its beginnings, during the year 1987, Elcor S.A. was founded as a family business dedicated to the elaboration of dairy products. Over the years, the family business grew and specialized even more, giving rise to a great variety of products and becoming the most technologically advanced butter factory in Argentina.
Through its productive and commercial activities, Elcor S.A., is committed to manage the quality of the processes, by the interaction of all the levels and sectors of the organization. To achieve this, the company works with the highest national and international quality standards, certifying its food safety management system of the butter and cream production lines, under FSSC 22000.
This certification, based on the ISO 22000 standard and the PAS 220 (or ISO/TS 22002-1) specification, was developed by the Foundation for Food Safety Certification, which is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). FSSC 22000 establishes good practice requirements and guidelines that a production system must fulfill in order to obtain a safe product, from the entry of the raw material to the obtaining of the finished product.
This is where Loyal Solutions plays an important role. Jimena Cajeao, Quality Manager ELCOR S.A., gave us her opinion about the DMS, QMS and KPI modules implemented by Loyal Solutions.
At Elcor S.A. We had a quality management system which we managed through a documentary base using Word and Excel files. They were located in a Windows directory, and defined access was established for each user. Based on a negative experience due to a hack, which involved the temporary loss of all documents, different alternatives were evaluated and it was decided to hire the Loyal system. In this way, a safe, controlled and reliable tool for managing documents with an electronic backup was achieved. We recommend Loyal for its versatility, practicality and information security. Thanks to the DMS module, they were able to manage all the documents generated by the organization for control, revision, publication, updating and consultation. The QMS module allowed them to manage all the tasks of the quality system (Audits, Nonconformities, Actions and Findings), ensuring that they were performed correctly and providing agility in the management systems with greater control. Finally, the KPI module allowed the evaluation, integration and fast and precise follow-up of the performance indicators in the business processes.
