“One of the main benefits of implementing LOYAL QMS is that it enables collaborative quality
management. We are now able to work within an integrated system that encourages
participation across the entire company.”

CASE STUDY

GENNEIA S.A. is an integrated and innovative energy company, recognized as a leader in providing
energy solutions using state-of-the-art thermal technologies and as a major investor in renewable
energy projects in Argentina. Through seven conventional thermal power plants—natural gas and
liquid fuel—located in Buenos Aires and Entre Ríos, and the Rawson Wind Farm, the most
important in Chubut, the company generates the energy supplied nationwide by the Argentine
Interconnected System. Under the “Isolated Generation” program, it also supplies the entire
demand of the Regional Interconnection System in the province of Chubut. The excellence of its
human resources and its ethical, responsible conduct in every area of operation enhance the high
added value of GENNEIA’s activities and reinforce its commitment to the country and society.
Genneia has obtained ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational
Health and Safety) certifications for its Head Office and the thermal plants located in Matheu,
Bragado, Olavarría, Pinamar and Las Armas (Buenos Aires Province), as well as the plants in Paraná
and Concepción del Uruguay (Entre Ríos Province), and the Rawson Wind Farm. These
certifications apply to the following scope: “Power Generation and Availability.”
