With more than 50 years of experience, in Argentina they develop intelligent crop protection and nutrition solutions for agriculture and complex industries. Their goal is to shape a better and sustainable future of soybean cultivation, improving yields, efficiency and quality.
Operating in Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa, DVA focuses its efforts on the specific local needs of farmers, either in terms of product composition, application, digitalization or practices such as package size.
In this opportunity we interviewed Mariana Antonielli, Head of Quality Assurance at DVA Agro, so she could tell us about her experience in implementing the first Loyal in English.
In 2019, the company was in search of a system that would allow them to centralize all documentation from different countries on the same platform. After looking into the tools available on the market, DVA chose the Loyal Solutions system, understanding the flexibility of the product, as it can be extended across countries as needed, while also taking into account the language of each country.
In addition, thanks to the high level of parameterization, Loyal’s system is perfectly adapted to the customer’s needs in terms of document and quality management. For this reason, the company opted for the implementation of the DMS, QMS and KPI modules.
At DVA we implemented different Loyal modules. But we mainly emphasize the use of the quality module, QMS, as we use it globally. Today, we centralize information and manage documentation from India, China, Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and Germany within the system. The incorporation of the software made our work much easier.
At Loyal Solutions , we believe it is vitally important to deliver products and services that can adapt to the changing needs of this globalized world. Due to the global context of 2020, part of the training had to happen remotely. However, this was not an impediment, as Mariana tells us that the implementation process was very pleasant and fruitful, and that the tool allowed them to keep the quality management system perfectly up to date.
Our experience in implementing management software is extensive. We use best practices to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction. Installation, parameterization, training, audit support and product customization are some of the stages that make up each project.
The implementation was completed successfully. Loyal’s consultant, Cesar, is a very professional and great person. He was always willing to help us and solve our doubts. Everything was very clear and the system turned out to be very easy for us to use.
DVA also implemented the KPI module in the company. Mariana tells us that in Argentina they use this tool quite a lot because the module allows to associate non-conformities, findings and action plans to performance deviations.
Performance management or performance evaluation is an integral, continuous and systematic process that allows us to measure the fulfillment of strategic objectives and how we worked to achieve them. In addition, they alert when these actions are not being implemented and it is unlikely that the objectives of the business or company will be achieved.
In Argentina, we use three dashboards with 30 automatic KPIs of daily execution. We use them to manage everything related to the Production area. These dashboards are displayed in the plant’s canteen. In this way, it is much easier to see in which state a certain indicator is in, and therefore, we can make a quicker resolution.
Mariana highlighted how well the company worked together throughout the entire process, from the sale and implementation of the software to the support service after the sale.
We are very pleased with the work done by Loyal. We are planning to implement Loyal 6 this year along with the incorporation of other quality tools. We believe it can mean an improvement at a global level.
