ABOUT DVA

DVA is a German chemical and bio-solutions company with more than 50 years of experience. In Argentina, it develops crop protection and nutrition solutions for agriculture and complex industries, with the goal of shaping a better, more sustainable future for soybean cultivation by improving yields, efficiency, and quality. It operates in Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Africa, and focuses on the specific local needs of farmers.

ONE PLATFORM ACROSS COUNTRIES

In 2019, DVA was looking for a system that would let it centralize documentation from different countries on one platform. After studying the tools on the market, it chose LOYAL for its flexibility: the product can be extended across countries as needed, and it takes each country’s language into account. Its high level of parameterization also fit DVA’s document and quality management needs, so DVA implemented the DMS, QMS, and KPI modules.

THE FIRST LOYAL IN ENGLISH

Mariana’s experience was with the first LOYAL in English.

“At DVA we implemented different LOYAL modules, but we mainly emphasize the use of the quality module, QMS, as we use it globally. Today, we centralize information and manage documentation from India, China, Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Germany within the system. The incorporation of the software made our work much easier.” — Mariana Antonielli

Because of the global context of 2020, part of the training had to take place remotely. That wasn’t an obstacle: Mariana describes the implementation as very pleasant and fruitful, and says the tool let DVA keep its quality management system perfectly up to date. She praised how well the two companies worked together, from the sale and implementation through the after-sale support.

“LOYAL’s consultant, César López, is a very professional and great person,” she says. “He was always willing to help us and solve our doubts. Everything was very clear, and the system turned out to be very easy for us to use.”

KPI DASHBOARDS IN THE PLANT CANTEEN

In Argentina, DVA uses the KPI module quite a lot, because it lets the team link non-conformities, findings, and action plans to performance deviations.

“In Argentina, we use three dashboards with 30 automatic KPIs of daily execution. We use them to manage everything related to the Production area. These dashboards are displayed in the plant’s canteen. In this way, it is much easier to see the state of a given indicator, so we can resolve things more quickly.” — Mariana Antonielli
