PETROM
Loyal Solutions is pleased to introduce the biggest manufacturer of Phthalic Anhydride in Latin America: Petrom.
With more than 23 years of experience and a great effort from the whole company, Petrom is 100% committed to global standards of quality, safety and environmental responsibility. Petrom also believes that in this way it will be training a new generation of professionals who bring with them strong principles and values focused on respect for the environment.
Located in an area of approximately 1 million square metres on the Mogi-Bertioga highway, in the state of São Paulo, Petrom currently has a production area of 21,000 square metres.
Over the years, Petrom has developed its Integrated Management System – “Quality”, “Health and Safety” and “Environment” according to the guidelines of ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004.
In order to fully meet the diverse and demanding needs of its clients, Petrom spares no effort in the search for improvements and new solutions. For this reason, the company decided to implement Loyal Solutions software for the management and control of its documents.
We had the opportunity to interview Fabiano da Silva Ricardo , who has been working in the IT department since 1999. Through a video call, he shared with us his opinion on the DMS – Document Management module, implemented between 2004 and 2005.
Loyal is extremely important in Petrom’s audits because the submission of documents is done through the system, facilitating communication and avoiding paper circulation in the areas. In addition, the users are very familiar with the design of the tool.
With the support of more than 200 employees and 1000 documents created in Loyal, Petrom manages all processes and documents through the system.
Fabiano tells us that during the pandemic, they started using Loyal for internal approval of service providers, and once the approval workflow is completed, the document is available to the front desk employee, who can then proceed to properly register the provider.
This type of electronic management avoids any contact between paper and people in the circulation of documents.
The application has added value to document management at Petrom. Many documents that were previously printed and had considerable circulation have been digitised, reducing duplication and contact between physical documents and people, ensuring security between areas.
Loyal has met Petrom’s needs very well, so yes, I would recommend the system as a very appropriate tool for electronic document management.
At Loyal Solutions we thank Petrom for the trust and the opportunity to continue working together.
