Founded in 1965 by Hernán Garcés Vial, Agrícola Garcés is a Chilean family-owned agricultural company now led by the second generation: Hernán Garcés Echeverría as General Manager and Pablo Garcés Echeverría as Agricultural Manager, overseeing more than 1,000 hectares of family-owned land. The company has built a strong presence in the global cherry market, expanding to 16 facilities across Chile, including its Molina Industrial Plant. As the company grew, Agrícola Garcés needed to replace its manual document management system, make documents easier for employees to access, and improve the follow-up of non-conformities and corrective actions.

DMS and QMS, since 2009
Agrícola Garcés implemented LOYAL DMS and QMS in 2009. DMS was introduced to manage handbooks, procedures, instructions, and quality documents digitally. Through QMS, the company manages external audits, findings, non-conformities, and corrective actions.

LOYAL replaced the company’s manual document management system, bringing faster and safer dissemination of documents, controlled access to quality documentation, periodic document reviews, decentralized management across areas, and automated alerts for responsible staff at each step.
Quality and audit management
Through QMS, Agrícola Garcés manages external audits, including observations and non-conformities, together with the corresponding corrective actions. This gives the company a structured way to follow quality processes and maintain visibility across its different areas.
